Widespread software piracy has made this system necessary.
When you load some files into WatchFast, it will try to verify your email address with our authorization server at techsono.com. This usually takes less than a second.
If you have a firewall, you may need to configure it to allow access to techsono.com.
After a failed authorization, you will have to restart WatchFast.
If you still have problems, go into your WatchFast folder, open the file named “auth-debug.txt”, copy the text into an email, and send it to the address on the Support page. Also include the email address and registration key that you have entered into WatchFast.
To find the auth-debug.txt file, go onto WatchFast’s “Help” menu, and then to “Open App Data Folder”.
To use WatchFast on a laptop off of the internet, start up WatchFast while connected to the internet, go onto the “File” menu, and use the “Phone Home” command. Then go back onto the “File” menu and see if it says that you are authorized. Once it does so, you can disconnect from the internet. WatchFast will work for as long as you leave it running. You can put your laptop to sleep instead of shutting it off, and WatchFast will work when you resume. Modern laptops use very little power when in sleep/hibernate mode, so there is practically no drain on your battery.
